SUMMARY:Internalizing Rhythm With Dalcroze Eurhythmics
DESCRIPTION:This participatory session begins with internalizing pulse, duration and subdivision, then transitions to rhythmic structures within duple, triple, and compound meters. In Dalcroze Eurhythmics, the body is the first instrument and is used to feel rhythmic structures. The sequencing of physically experiencing pulse, beat, durations, rhythmic patterns, meter, and rhythmic improvisation leads to reading notation and composition.
