SUMMARY:Eurhythmics for the School Music Classroom
DESCRIPTION:COME MOVE WITH US! \nThis summer, Colorado State University will hold its 3-credit graduate-level course, “MU 524 Eurhythmics for the School Music Classroom,” virtually from June 16-25, 2021. Non-credit instruction will also be available. Learn how to captivate your students, and apply Eurhythmics principles to create effective, age-appropriate lesson activities for immediate use. You will strengthen your own creativity, musicianship, and ear while learning ways to make the most of space constraints, curricular alignment, differentiated instruction, and assessment. You will also learn ways to clearly communicate benefits of incorporating Eurhythmics within your curriculum, as well as strategies for advocating for your students and program. The course will be co-taught by AES Master Teaching Artists, Mr. Fritz Anders and Dr. Jacobi, and follows the AES curriculum for those who’d like to pursue their Eurhythmics Certificate.
