DESCRIPTION:Presented for the Kodály Chapter of Minnesota.\nThis session will allow participants to experience the core components of Dalcroze Eurhythmics. The Dalcroze approach can be effectively blended with the Kodály philosophy to enhance the preparation and practice stages of musical concept learning. Movement activities focusing on rhythmic integrity and expressiveness will be presented. Folk song applications, assessment, piano improvisation, space limitations, and classroom management issues will also be addressed.\n
